ECDO Management Corporation has a very strong connection to
Ecumenical Community Development Organization (ECDO). ECDO is a diversified
not-for-profit community based organization that was incorporated
to fulfill the objective of formulating and implementing plans for
new construction and rehabilitation of affordable housing in Harlem
and the surrounding communities. ECDO has also been successful with
neighborhood-based planning, tenant and community organizing, education,
job planning training and placement of youth and adults.
Both ECDO Management Corporation and ECDO are grassroots community
development organizations whose goals are to better serve the community.

As a full service organization ECDO Management Corporation
has provided diversified assistance to all of its residential and
commercial tenants. We take pride in the organizations ability
to successfully work with privately owned limited equity cooperatives
and distressed buildings. Our management services include the following:
- Monthly reporting.
- Direction of the physical maintenance and operation of every building.
Weekly inspections.
- Preparation of personnel schedules.
- Securing of contractual bids.
- Review and analyze fuel, utility and operating costs to affect
savings.
- Review of insurance coverage while providing referrals and recommendations.
- Liaison with mortgagees, attorneys, accountants, union, state
and local agencies.
- Use of state of the art computerized real estate management software
and computer system.
